Celebrating completing MSc in Person-centred counselling

It is now one year since I began the full-time MSc in Person-centred Counselling and Psychotherapy with professor  Robert Elliott and the team at Strathclyde University, Glasgow. This is the first time a one-year British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) approved course and has been a busy year for us all.

During this programme, I have been involved in four placements with third-sector organisations, working with clients who are parents, carers, asylum seekers and refugees and people from all over Glasgow. I have completed over 200 hours with clients, individual and group supervision and a dissertation considering the research base for Person-centred counselling for chronic medical conditions.

And now I am setting off on a journey to South America, Cuba and Mexico where I will attend two Focusing Institute events and explore the Andes, Galapagos Islands and Yucatan region.
